WHAT IS THE CODE OF CONDUCT?
-Display good sportsmanship at all times.
-Show respect for, be considerate of, and display a positive attitude towards teammates, coaches, officials, opposing players, and parents. No talking back & use manners at all time.
-Cheer for one another. Do not criticize teammates; pick one another up when needed. We win or lose as a team. No blaming others or bragging.
-Errors will occur. Keep a positive attitude, forgive yourself, and learn from the experience.
-No profanity. No fighting. Represent your team & coaches honorably at all times.
-Trust that your coaches are putting you in the position that benefits the team as a whole and that they are making decisions for you and the team to excel.
-Work hard to control your emotions and temper. Avoid crying. No abuse of equipment will be tolerated.
-Arrive to games and practices on time.
-Players are encouraged to remain healthy though out the season. Agility, speed, and quick thinking come from healthy food choices, hydration, and exercise.
-Absence from practice or game is expected to be addressed with a coach as soon as possible.
WHAT IS THE PARENT/FAN CODE OF CONDUCT?
-Parents and fans are not permitted to heckle, harass, or use derogatory, profane, or vulgar remarks or gestures towards coaches, players, opposing teams and their fans, or officials. Violators may be asked by a coach to leave the park immediately. A second violation may result in player dismissal from the team.
-No outside coaching. Please allow the coaches in uniform to do the coaching during games.
-Parents and fans may not confront coaches on game days about playing time or position. Trust that the coaches make decisions to benefit the team as a whole as well as what will benefit each player in order to develop and grow. Sometimes you may not understand “why” a decision was made, but if you are patient and ask at the APPROPRIATE time, a coach will be happy to give you an explanation.
